Canon Powershot G7 3rd party wide angle lenses?
Does anyone know any 3rd party company that sells wide angle lenses (preferably less than 0.55x wide angle) for the Canon Powershot G7? and if they ship overseas to Australia?
Tamaron and Sakr both make “extension” lenses for non-Slr digital cameras. I have a Set of Sakr’s for my two Fuji’s…..I got them from B&H Photo(b&hphotovideo.com) But I know J&R sells them also(google them for URL). I believe the Canon G series has a “smooth” Lens…so you will need a sleeve. I know the Sakr’s come with sleeves. My Fuji’s have threaded barrels so they don’t use the sleeves. I believe they both ship to the land down under!!

How To Wear A Scent
Women’s fragrances are all the rage nowadays. This growing popularity for women’s fragrances may be attributed to successful and beautiful celebrities endorsing signature scents like that of Britney Spears and Elizabeth Taylor. Wearing their fragrances implies imbibing their power and beauty.
But not many women know how to choose the right scent that suits them. What works for Britney may not work well for some. It is because women have different skin types and different body chemistries. The same perfume can smell differently on different people. This is why just like buying shoes, choosing women’s fragrances is a science and an art.
So how do women search for the most suitable perfume?
First, they should know their personality. Women’s fragrances’ tones range from deep, dark, and mysterious (vanillas, sandalwood and patchouli), to light, outgoing, airy and romantic (citrus, rose, gardenia and jasmine). They should also know what part of their personality they want to express and accentuate. Choosing the right women’s fragrance can mean the difference between a wall flower and a stand out.
Second, women should wear the scent and not let the scent wear them. The first thing people should notice is the delightful fragrance and not a series of guesses about the brand of perfume women wear.
Lastly, buy and search at online shops that have a wide variety of perfumes such as Topbuy.com.au. Topbuy is a wholly Australian owned online store that offers a range of high quality perfumes at bargain prices. They have a best price guarantee, giving its customers up to 80% off the retail price.
They also deliver and come with a 14-day return policy. This is especially helpful for women who may have a change of heart upon delivery. Aside from women’s fragrances, Topbuy Australia also sells the latest model of gadgets like Olympus digital cameras, digital camcorders, computer components and computer parts.

Canon 40D: What is the difference between the “imported japanese” the “imported” and the “English Version” ???
…… as advertised on this site (1/2 way down the page):
http://www.quikshop.com.au/canon-c-58_78.html
(They seem to have the cheapest lenses in Australia on this site.)
I was confused about the different “versions” of the 40D,
I thought there was only one.
Hello Lizzie
Beware the “gray market”. Before making any purchase be absolutely certain the warranty is good in Australia. Don’t rely on a verbal assurance – get it in writing.
Its perfectly legal for an importer to buy cameras and lenses in a country with a favorable exchange rate and re-sell them at a lower price than a “Canon Authorized Importer”.
The consumer thinks they are getting a bargain – until they need warranty service and are politely told: “Your camera’s warranty is in the United States (or Singapore or Hong Kong, etc.) so you’ll have to send it there. We will not work on it here.” Any initial savings quickly evaporates as you ship your camera off for service. Your camera should not travel without you.
