Would you buy an Olympus E-420?

Would you buy an Olympus E-420 as an introduction to SLR cameras? Olympus does not have as many targets to choose from as Nikon or Canon? You may use Nikon or Canon lenses on it?

Olympus is a great brand, but limited targeting 4/3rds format and you do not like. On a technical note, 4/3rd sensors tend to combat noise and dynamic range. These lenses are not compatible with Canon or Nikon. *** It seems you're doing a little research. If not already invested heavily in Canon and Nikon because they would probably choose my choice of Pentax DSLRs, IMHO.
