I need suggestions / help XSi Canon lens?

I have a Canon XSi (I eventually update in the future, so that comments on how "Shit" this camera is not necessary to my suggestions) I am looking to buy a lens more for it. I'm on a budget and would like to add maybe one or two more. I know I can not really afford any objective L series and I did not even know if it's worthwhile because I have a low end camera, more then yes. Not now. I'm a novice photographer looking to enter the studio / outdoor portrait area. I would like to take some pictures of my cousins wedding (not like the photographer primary, only to have some good / photos can be had for my own use) that seem to be interested in the following. I do not know if any of these are good. So so please suggest that out of the squad or have other suggestions on other targets. Thank you. Canon EF 20 … f/2.8 EF-S 60 mm f / 2,8 EF 85 mm f/2.8 f/1.8 EF 100 EF 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS EF 28-200 EF 28-300 f/3.5-5.6 EF-S 55-250 f / 4-5.6 IS

I definitely suggest the 85mm f/1.8. (I'm a wedding photographer and have this goal in my collection. It is not as good as the 85mm f/1.2, of course, but does the job.) So I would suggest a general purpose lens like the 50mm f / 1.4 (or if you are really short of money, you can get the 50 mm f/1.8 lens for about $ 80, I rate the quality of about 1.5 out of 5, but may be useful in certain situations.) or 28-135mm lens. when you have the money, it's a good idea to spend on lenses with large aperture capabilities. (That is, lenses Starting around f/1.0-f/2.0)

The purpose of the kit. In the eyes of most people is a grim piece of equipment. Only with a camera given to fill the space and make it look good, but without any real merit. This used to be the case for two reasons.

1 – The manufacturers do not want to spend time to make a good goal not given much the actual price of a camera.

2 – They wanted the goal of being poor at what had before going out to buy an improved version that could be sold to the hundreds of dollars.

Things have changed since then, however. Consumers are more demanding than ever and are more difficult to please and competition in the digital SLR market is tighter than ever everyone is a game download.

Canon I am a photographer, this means I chose Canon for some time and took with them since. Not because they are better, but it was a personal choice for the moment. You might think differently, but for the love This will be looking to kit revise their offers the EF-S 18-55mm IS sold many of its cameras, including one I recently bought the Canon EOS Rebel 500D/Digital

Since this target will be a little bit. It has an angle of 18mm wide lens is good for big shots and a zoom setting of 55mm, although he is quick to zoom zoom gives you an idea how to change your photo. It takes great pictures and you can say that the approach used to create a good color and contrast are top average.Â

The goal also stabilize image. To put it simply, this means that there is a mechanism to counteract the very purpose of human body movement to reduce blur images. They should be considered, but is useful when you can not quite get enough light on your objective therefore need slow shutter speed.

The only negative I have with this objective that year feels cheap and light, and certainly not last and not years of constant use. Nor has a ring of manual focus on the goal and not just turn the muzzle of the focus manually. This can be quite annoying, because he feels he forgot to add that this would be very easy.

In short, one lens cracked a bit and you must use to death before taking any other purchase!

MM camera lenses and what that means?

Ok, so I'm upgrading from a point and shoot to a DSLR and I'm research lens. I am eager to get a good macro lens and I am well established in the canon. What is the difference in the EF-S 60mm f / 2.8 L Macro USM and the same, with the exception of 100 mm f/2.8 I know he is the aperature and EF-S is the type of connection, but add something im fuzzy details about the effects of lens mm.

You should be closer to get the same frame with lens 60 mm, 100 mm lens will the same shot from farther away. To give you an idea through the lens of 60 mm in size photograph something (1 cm to something in the real world is 1 cm around the sensor) the lens will be about 3 "distance from the subject. With 100 mm under the same objective would be about 9 cm from the subject. Most people prefer the 100 mm lens, such as avoiding "falling within its own light" that leaves more elbow room "to work. The other advantage is that you photograph insects usually tolerate about 9 "or so away, if it is safe to fly a distance of 3." The downside is that these increases also magnify camera movement and its subsequent movement is exaggerated, if you need more practice to avoid camera shake. You pays your money and takes your choice, personally I would choose the 100 mm. Chris
