Are Nikon And Canon Lenses Compatible
Should I buy Nikon D60 or Canon Rebel XS?

Hello everyone. To be honest, this question before and got bad responses in reality. Assuming these cameras are the same price, please answer the following: I am looking at 2 cameras. The Nikon D60 with a lens 18-55mm VR or a canon Rebel XS with 18-55mm IS lens. I want to know which is better. I do a lot of macro photography, so I want to be compatible with a large number of lenses. Some questions: How important is the live view of the Canon for photography? I've heard the Canon XS is compatible with almost all targets new canon, while the Nikon D60 is not, is this right? Thanks everyone! Ps NO SPAM! I do not want anyone to link to any site selling stuff!

I do not remember if I answered you or not, but I own and recommend Canon Rebel XS due to its excellent photo quality, wonderful build quality and everything. Macro is in the lens and the XS is compatible with virtually all Canon makes. There are third-party manufacturers, so they build with Canon mounts only. Live view is a trick. You have people out there all the time using the screen as a viewer – we go. Snaps? If you want left out of a DSLR then see live is for you. If you want to be a photographer using the viewfinder. Maybe someone can tell more about the Nikon lenses – Canon personally prefer so do not pay attention to Nikon.
