Best Canon Lenses Portraits
First DSLR: Canon or Nikon? Model? Glasses?
I've been researching cameras for months and I'm not closer than when I started. I'm new digital SLR, but want to learn pro skills. Shooting portraits, still life and macro shots. I need it to perform well in indoor / low light stabilizer image that can save custom settings, live view and lens compatible with other brands. I would love a rechargeable battery and have about $ 1,000 to spend. I'd love advice on lenses that would be best for what I like to shoot. Please help, my novice head is spinning!
I know how you feel. There are so many options out there, is amazing. But if you make your list of "must haves" that will make your decision much easier. First of all, your budget is and its limits and you should buy the best body you can afford that meets your needs. That does not mean every single bell and whistle available for all his money, but look at the features you really need and use. In many of my cameras are not features that I never use, but they come with features only had to have. Canon and Nikon are good brands, only to find out what features you need in a good package and has good skills with users. Check both a store and see that you like best. When it comes to lenses, there are many, but we can always add to what you have at a later date once your body. Start with a telephoto lens has a range that will keep you happy for a while …. as 35-105 or so. That is a good starting point range. There are many good lenses out there too. I had a great Sigma with my 35mm Minolta. You can always achieve other objectives that are more specialized at a later date as Learn more. You can also add filters to meet your objectives for a smaller amount of money. There are many "tools" that can add to the bag to 'play' with what you learn. Digital cameras have changed things, but are certainly exciting. Photography is a great hobby and can easily lead to addiction as you see the pictures that develop in large viewfinder / screen. Good luck and have fun!
