Video Editing Software for Canon A1000?

I want to download and edit a variety of movies in my A1000 killed. Does anyone know any software I can use? Adobe Premiere? I tried iMovie and not recognize it. Thanks in advance.

A1000 records video in. AVI (MJPEG), which is almost as common as it can get. Windows XP and Vista come with a movie editing program called Movie Maker. Have you tried that? It is perfectly suitable for editing of your videos.
