Canon Cameras
Will work Canon compact photo printers with Nikon digital cameras?
I am interested in buying a Nikon D300 this week, but was very interested in using a Canon compact photo printer. I know the answer most people will first buy a Canon camera, but I have about ten years of Nikon lenses that I'm not willing to part with a loss, so finding a portable printing solution is kind of thanks especially now same …!
In fact, my first response is: You are spending $ $ $ on a Nikon D300, just to ruin your pictures with an inkjet printer Ink?! Real photo labs (including http://www.shutterfly.com/) were made for the cameras like yours. Chemical processing, crisp images, of any size under the sun. Does not that sound good? That said, if the laboratory is closed and you need photos for a party that starts in ten minutes, then a little blurry easily scratched prints home may be your only option. So to answer your question: yes. It should probably be able to connect the camera to the printer Canon directly. USB cables tend to be quite similar on this point. Otherwise, the printer also has slots where you can insert the memory card directly. Both Nikon and Canon cameras tend to use SD cards or Compact Flash cards, depending on model. EDIT: Actually, when I worked in camera store, customers bought Canon printers used with any camera brand. And I have not heard of compatibility issues.
