Canon Digital Elph Battery Charger
What kind of travel adapter will I need when traveling to Algeria from the United States?
I would like to use my battery charger to charge my battery for a Canon SD1100 IS Digital Elph. It is dual voltage so a converter is not needed.
Thanks in advance.

How exactly can test a digital camera battery charger?
I have a digital camera that just doesn’t seem to work due to the battery draining too quickly. Or at least so I always thought. Someone suggested I test my battery charger. How would I do that exactly? I’m a total rookie, but I’m a total DIY enthusiast. Help! It’s a Canon Digital Elph PowerShot S100 battery charger. The battery type is a Rechargeable CE Li-ion Battery Pack 3.7V 1000mAh. Item #BP-CN1L or Item#NB1LH. Instructions would be great!
Thanks – guess I should have mentioned I’ve already tried to get the camera working with new batteries. No sucess as of yet!
Granted, incase this matters – when I tested the “new” batteries, it was several years ago, right after I purchased the batteries new. When I bought them and my camera still didnt work, I got somewhat fed-up. The camera’s been on my shelf as a low-priority for a long time, but now I could really use this camera if it’s fixable. I hate waste.
The S100 is an old camera, and I would suspect the battery pack is giving up the ghost before I turned a suspicious eye to your charger. Lithium ion batteries have a finite amount of recharge cycles, and if your battery pack is several years old, it might be time to invest in a new one.
