Canon Digital Elph Best Buy
What is the best digital camera to buy in terms of image quality?

Im looking to buy a point and shoot camera digital, but plenty of it on the market I'm having difficulty trying to find one worth every penny. This will be an alternative to my digital SLR and do not want be losing out on image quality when using this, instead of a DSLR. Image quality is what I am mainly looking for. I thought about buying the Canon PowerShot 10.0 Megapixel Digital ELPH, but not quite made up my mind about it. Are there others who should consider buying?

You lose picture quality … It stands to reason. P & S cameras have sensors that are more than 15 times lower than the digital SLR is a good start to a lesser quality … and then there's the fact that you will not have direct control of shutter speed or aperture. That said, know it's going to have lower quality images, but the convenience of a pocket camera to shoot your friends and family … Even recording possible shooting locations

a Photographer Review

By Jeffrey Stanley

I am a very amateur camera user. I understand the basic terms and parameters (ISO, aperture, shutter speed, image stabilization, exposure), but I'm impatient and I want to do things to adjust and use only the camera.

I bought this camera because I wanted the ability to use the camera indoors in low light without flash. Because of the relatively high price, my expectations were high.

My MAC has been delivered last week, and have used at an event in a local bar the best word I can use to describe this device is "magic". This camera takes the light, so it seems like magic.

The event was documented was in a room very dimly lit. Only sources of light in the room were dimmed incandescent lamps as low as they went.

I set my ISO to 1000 priority mode opening f2.0 (this level is only available in larger zoom), adjust the white balance to incandescent, and took some pictures. Most of the catch used 1/6-second shutter speed was very good because of the image-stabilized lens. The IS improved performance on my last Canon compact. I do not have strong hands, and I love taking pictures quickly overlooked. If the IS in this camera can handle my hands, an action game with a lot of constant attention that you could probably get away with 1 / 4 second. The resulting images were bright and had all the world like a good color I saw was fear. The images appear brighter and more colorful than a glance. Shooting with these high ISOs, like having night vision integrated into the camera. Noise levels were quite low and the color was so good that I can easily print this pleasant 5x7s evening.

I took some candid shots of people moving into the bar, so I had to hit the ISO 1600 to obtain faster shutter speed (ISO 1600 1/30sec me on light low bar). In 1600 ISO, the color is still acceptable and pretty 4×6, web publishing and e-mail will not be no problem. ISO 1600 for this change is comparable to what most compact cameras produce at ISO 400. I've never seen a camera compact to take great pictures with ISO settings with high-ish.

I am so happy with the results when using my EOS 20D digital SLR. A professional critic can claim that this camera is as big as an SLR, but for normal sized prints, and digital distribution, this camera took pictures are as good as SLR consumers.

My last was a Canon compact SD800is. I love this picture, but the pictures are mostly unusable above 400 ISO because of the color faded and cereals. The S90 is completed ISO two stops beyond what can be done with a camera Compact typical $ 300. Combine high performance with the f2.0 ISO option and you can take great pictures in one third of the light necessary for Most of the compact camera of $ 300.

Camera settings is a dream. I like I check with my SLR EOS 20D. I used the Canon Rebel SLR friends, and controls on this CD are even better than them. Between the ring, back line, and shortcut button, you the instantaneous control of the three functions of the camera without much enthusiasm. All controls are customizable. If you've used other devices Canon in the past, you really do not need to use even the excellent printed manual (yes, a printed manual!).

I not had enough shots to check if the battery can actually provide a charge of 200, but 200 is not really a great performance from the battery and bought battery backup outlets on the market of a seller and Amazon ($ 30 shipped).

I also recommend the leather case Canon compact. This camera fits easily into a pocket, but I'm pretty sure that the lint and dust is what I did in my previous compact camera. The Leather Case Canon S90 compact for mounting on a belt, and offers protection against the light from the keys and pocket lint.

The body size is comparable to Canon elph. My SD800 ELPH 1/2in shorter, but the height and thickness is the same (not counting the ring of the lens, This makes the total thickness of the S90 a bit thicker). I posted pictures of comparison between SD800 and S90 in the gallery.

Screen back is really strong and is visible outside. I have not bought a new camera for more than three years and left me breathless display compared with my other devices. You can not really compare the screen with the new cams.

Just judging by the way he feels in your hand, build quality is just average.

The only real performance is low in burst mode. Gusts are very, very slow.

If you want a compact and I think some people ever want to photograph subjects in low light without flash, the camera is the property. The price is 40% higher, but you need the light of 300%. Unless you're shooting a lot of action, this camera is probably a better option for people who consider consumer-level SLRs, like Canon's Rebel line.

I can not imagine anyone regretting the purchase of unit. It is much better than other cameras pocket compact with a wide margin.

Canon S90 More Details…

My best friend broke my camera .. What now?

My best friend threw me my camera when I said no and he hit the mat. We thought he was very good because the screen and the lens is not damaged. But when I returned in this strange image in poor condition has been presented on the screen, and all modes as well. I am very sorry and nervous to tell my parents … more than I do now? Canon PowerShot SD600 Digital ELPH have one. I know that my parents used to buy a new, and my friend offered to pay for it, but she has no money either. I have $ 80 and I have no idea what to do …… HELP ?!!??! More … I have no warranty because I have this unit as a gift of more than two years. Thank you for the advice … but do not play ball with him! My friend was killed me and I told him specifically not to!

Tell your parents. Tell them exactly what happened and you just let them know, but do not expect to buy a new one. Then, continue to save for your new camera itself. If you register, you'll be more attentive to another. I bet you do not want to play the ball to the other. Lesson learned, hopefully.
