If ever there was one issue on which the hordes of amateur digital photography, should be "What is the best digital camera brand?". Sometimes called "What is the brand most digital camera to buy?" But not to be confused with "What is the best camera to buy?". Because everyone knows that regular (film) cameras are far superior to digital cameras. Wait a second, or it was Vice versa? Who can keep track of these days? Now, before I do not deviate too many questions, lets take a look at this battle of old age, and see if we can determine which brand is best.

First things first, in the spirit of full disclosure, I must say I own several cameras. They represent a variety of brands. I have two guns, Fuji and Kodak. I must admit I am a bit partial Canon but I try not to let this cloud any comments that may subsequently drafted.

If the digital camera sales are indicative what is the best brand was, then, according to Amazon.com Canon would be a clear winner. As I write this, Canon produced 18 top 25 cameras bestseller in its list of best-seller. Furthermore, Canon 9 of the 10 points, with 3 being the PowerShot A570 IS, PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH and PowerShot SD850. Sharing the first 11 Canon points with two cigars Flip Video camcorder. Nikon has two bedrooms on the top 25, including the Nikon D40 and Nikon D300. Panasonic slipped into a pair of models Lumix DMC-specifically TZ3A TZ3K and DMC. And finally, in a Fort 25, unconditionally with the KODAK EASYSHARE Z812IS old.

Of course, being popular, or the best seller does not make the best brand. It simply means that you have the best art of the sale. In this world, Canon seems to have more success. How accurately determine the best brand? The best service, best design, best performance, better customer service, better pictures and user experience optimum all the characters are valid. Perhaps a critical / scientific / empirical examination of all models of camera manufacturer would be in order. Let's see if we can add a lot of work already done by a couple of review sites on the camera that takes the features of the above account.

A reading of a camera review site tops in the category of five stars, 39 show Canon cameras, 18 Sony cameras, Nikon 17 cameras, six cameras, Fuji, Olympus, 5, 5 cameras Panasonic, Pentax cameras and three camera Konica. A review of the site of the second chamber under the main Canon cameras showed that 46 103, 21 Sony cameras, 20 Nikon, Pentax, 5, 3 Fuji cameras, Samsung two cameras, two Panasonic cameras, two cameras from Kodak, Konica, and a Casio camera. If you total it all, the top three finishing with 85 as Canon, Sony distant second with 39, and Nikon very close third with 37. All other devices are rated less than 10 above.

Interesting huh? Canon seems to be dominating sales, and wowing the critics. That’s a pretty strong one-two punch. The only reasonable conclusion here, is that Canon is the best overall brand out there. Of course I would never recommend anyone buy a camera based solely on brand. What I do suggest, is to do your homework by researching some good cameras. Once you’ve got your short list, and with everything else being equal, maybe then you should pick the Canon.

I just received a Canon PowerShot Digital ELPH, and I have no idea what the memory card …?!?

I need to keep all photos / videos, as it may, without being too expensive …? its exactly this device: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Canon+-+PowerShot+10.0-Megapixel+Digital+ELPH+Camera+-+Green/9464705.p?id=1218109501219&skuId=9464705 I need to know where to get and that the memory card? " I prefer the place to be is soooo BestBuy. =] PLEASE ANSWERRRRRRRR

want a card SD card or SDHC. The only difference between them is: SD 2 GB or less – SDHC is greater than 2 GB. The camera will store about 400 pictures by GB. 2 GB of space about 800 images, and should cost about $ 15 at Walmart / Target. You can buy a bigger card to 8GB will hold about 3200 images for about $ 40 for this unit, cheaper is better. Speed does not matter at all …
