reset the camera canon! oh please help quick?

Ok, so I left my camera in my house some friends a few weeks ago. i got it today. she said there was something wrong with it. I do not know what happened. the lens is an input / output and when I turn it back on display is a black and says "lens error, restart camera" Ughh I go on holiday in 10 days and I neeed this camera! How I can restart!? is ELPH Canon SD600 Digital (c) please help fast

My camera does not work and I do not know what is wrong. Help please!?

Well I have a Canon Power Shot Digital ELPH. I did for Christmas last year and yesterday I went to the beach with my friends and I took pictures on the way to the beach, but once the stage i on the sand i tryed to turn it on and said: "Lens error, restart camera." I tryed this time a million and it does not work. Something trouble with my lenses? A place that I can solve this problem? Thank you for your help!
