Help with Canon EOS Digital SLR Lenses?

Is there any difference between the "EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens Reflex" and "EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II Lens "?? I know that the only difference in the title is the" II "in the second, but have the exact same name otherwise and appear identical. Please someone with the answer from experience, if I buy the wrong one for my Canon Digital Rebel XTi that it would be an expensive mistake lol.

Them both work on your XTi. I suggest you go with the one with IS (image stabilization). IS helps reduce blur that is caused by camera shake.
