Canon Digital Eos Rebel Xsi
which is better? Nikon D80 or Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi (EOS 450D)?

Canon EOS 450D or Nikon D80

First, it depends on what which lenses you already own. If you do not have a DSLR system mm or 35, then all you have to choose camera system is that you want to marry. Both are excellent and both systems are used by professionals. You'll have to do research to know what is the best system for you. Currently, the Nikon D3 has better performance when it comes to low noise at high ISO levels. Nikon also has the unique ability to use DX lenses and lens both 35 mm (full frame) in its two digital cameras full frame (D3 and D700). Canon can not use EF-S in full-frame cameras, so many of the lenses used by beginners with entry level cameras then you can not use your lenses in cameras like the 5D or 1D camera line. Therefore, the camera chose intelligent system for later not having to change camera systems … like a divorce, can be somewhat cumbersome and costly.
