Canon Sd1200Is – Great camera
Purchased this camera a couple of weeks, and he lost after a few days. I searched everywhere for the camera, and finally resigned. Two weeks later I found the camera in my garden (must have fallen from my pocket one night). Brought inside, and the thing still worked. Was after being buried under three inches of snow for a week, then it rained a few days later. This camera is difficult.
Quality image is large, and the camera has a pretty good feature set. My only complaint, and is a small, is that sometimes the camera takes a little more time to really get an idea of what I wanted. This seems to be a common problem with digital cameras, especially when trying to do everything autofocus Hocus – Pocus. However, it is much faster than any of my previous digital cameras, and the delay between when you press to the shutter button and actually taking the picture is not bad at all.
Ultimately, I recommend this unit to any of my friends and family. I regret not buying.
Canon SD1200IS – Useless for shooting moving objects
The device is easy to use. LCD is good enough for most purposes. The software provided is excellent at eliminating the need to buy a picture of demand for third edition. The main problems have in mind is that the camera is only useful for stationary objects. Photographing moving subjects (children, pets, sports) is not realistic with this device. The time between pressing the shutter and the actual photo to be captured is 3-5 seconds, which is more sufficient time to move on. It is a common problem in point and shoot digital cameras. Is not unique to this gun model. If you are photographing fast moving subjects, I recommend upgrading to a DSLR.

I bought this camera as a Christmas gift for my wife.
After investigating several cameras, this was the one I bought.

Canon SD1200IS digital camera
This was a gift for a person who is not technically competent.
