Canon Digital Slr Compatible Lenses
Will my old Canon EOS 500 lens work on the EOS 400D digital camera?

I want to buy a Canon EOS 400 digital SLR and I heard that Canon lenses are reverse compatible. I have two lenses that fit my EOS 500 35mm camera film and just wanted to know if they were to work in the digital camera. Also I would like some advice if they did the work they are as effective as the one that comes with the camera. Thanks

Nikon crop factor is 1.5x with some Canon digital SLR is 1.6, so that a lens of your camera film with a viewing angle of 30 mm now be closer to 48 mm and 200 mm in a lens, becomes closer to a 320 mm lens. So the answer is yes they will work, but you lose the capacity of its wide-angle lens, but on TV in order to win.
