HD Video: Camcorder or DSLR?
I'm looking to buy an HD camcorder. I'm leaning toward the Vixia HF S200, but a friend My cameraman recommended buying a high-end digital SLR camera (like the Canon 7D), which also has video. That seems odd to me, to shoot video with a camera, but he assures me that I get the same video quality. He thinks a $ 1,000 video camera would be a waste of money. Would interested in hearing other opinions on this subject.
