Canon Digital Slr Refurbished
To the whole thing D-SLR camera, your advice?

Hi all, I'm new to the D-SLR camera whole thing. I love taking pictures with digital cameras regular, but I think it is time to step it up. I am taking a digital photography course at my university next semester and I want to be prepared. I have spoken with some photographers and so far I've received very strong recommendation: Canon or Nikon. Just want to know what models interest me The people I talked to recommended Canon and the D5000 T1i Nokia. What is your take these suggestions? I'm not looking to break the bank on these purchases, so it is more likely to buy a renovated floor model to save a hundred dollars that way. Any and all opinions / advice / tips / tricks would be useful. If you know where to get cameras a little cheaper, please let me know. Thanks! Michael
