Canon Digital Slr Uk
Digital SLR for a beginner?
Hello, I'm looking to buy a digital SLR camera. I have had several digital cameras from Fuji, Nikon and Canon but I want to go the next step. Where should i start? Should I got for opitical digital zoom? any suggestions of any good? (I'm in the UK) they just want to drop to about 550 pounds realistic. I would be happy to update on a couple of years once I know what I am "to do with it. Also as flashes, lenses and other accessories that are worth buying – if anyone can link me to your suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks youxxxxxxxxx
I suggest you go the link below Guide to DSLR. It is a site designed to guide people, especially first time buyers through the selection process a good digital SLR that fits your needs. For me the important considerations are – 1. Quality of the two lenses. Wide range of functions 3. Build Quality camera (less important than the lens, since it is likely that updating the camera, but using the same lenses). 3. Commitment to "long term" production a line of products. IMO quality companies that meet the above criteria include, in alphabetical order: Canon, Fuji, Nikon, Olympus and Pentax. Leica I have omitted because even met most of my criteria are generally too expensive to be competitive in the consumer market. All these manufacturers have quality collections available with a camera and one or two lenses designed for a wide range of applications in your price range. Canon and Nikon are the best-selling brands and both have a number of excellent options. However, I personally use as Olympus digital SLR designed a "bottom up" instead of turning his team of 35mm camera to digital. This has allowed them to take advantage of technology to make smaller, lighter cameras and lenses can produce excellent results and be manufactured at lower cost. In general, the "Standard Grade "lenses are superior to those of most other companies and will cost less than their competitors. Hope this helps. Email if you have specific questions about the options or want additional links to learn more about specific camera modes.
