It is the Canon XSi digital SLR camera the only Canon digital camera that uses SD memory cards?

I have always used Canon P & S cameras, so I own nothing but SD memory cards. I want to buy a Canon brand digital SLR today, but will not use a new type of memory card. After some research, I think that the XSi is the only one that is an option for Canon – That would be correct?

No. The current list of Canon SLR using digital SD / SDHC are: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS (aka 1000D) Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi (aka 450D) is also the most expensive and professional models available SD / SDHC and CF card capacity. (It would not make sense to buy these only by SD card capacity. Much cheaper to buy new CF cards will work with any of the other Canon digital SLR cameras.) EOS-1D Mark II EOS-1D Mark II N EOS-1D Mark III EOS-1Ds Mark II EOS-1Ds Mark III In the end … Compact Flash cards are not very expensive. My opinion is to buy whatever suits camera and then buy more memory cards if necessary. The XS and XSi are great cameras to learn a full manual control of the camera. If you are a beginner or do not know much, one of the two chambers is to achieve. If you have any experience or take photography seriously enough, a camera as the 40D, 50D, 5D, 5D Mark II or may be more suited to their needs. If all you have are regular SD cards, it is possible that they are not large enough to hold many photos, so you may end up having to buy more SDHC cards anyway. Just another thing to consider.

Which Canon digital SLR? 400D or 30D?

Go to buy a new camera, but still can not afford good goal! Definitely Buy a Canon 350D digital SLR as was the case, but you must buy the 400D and try to get a goal sooner rather than later or stick with the 30D and the lens of values? So should I buy: 1. 400D (and I hope that next year I can afford decent goal) or 2. 30D (and be happy with the goal came with)? I try to start my computer in time to take a basic kit if I go professional. If this were to happen tomorrow, who would have the 30D, but it is unlikely for three years the 30D is likely to be overwhelmed by what I stick to the 400D and start saving up for lenses? Decisions, decisions …… :-) . Advice appreciated! Thank you!

I suggest to go with the best camera and lens can not afford right now. This means you can leave and start receiving valuable experience as a photographer now instead of waiting. That's what I did and I never regretted. :)
