What kind of wide-angle lens should I buy for my Canon DSLR?
I have a Canon 18-50 mm lens right now. I have a Canon Rebel XTi (EOS 400 / 400D). My goal now is 18-55. A 10-22 goal Canon does not make enough of a difference to justify the purchase? Should I buy a telephoto lens or a Macro lens in place?
If your Canon DSLR has a 1.6 crop factor (30D, 40D, 350D, 400D, etc), then I recommend … Canon EF-S 10-22mm f / 3.5-4.5 USM. It is a very good lens, well worth spending, because it will outlast the current camera. check out the comments of this big goal, then …

Canon Rebel XSi T1i O – What should I buy Canon Rebel
Personally, I would choose the Canon Rebel XSi if I had not a little money I do not know what to do with it. And I have good reasons. Canon was the top of the digital camera market, including the market top DSLR (Nikon) forever. Your Digital Single Lens Reflex cameras are all excellent. You can not go wrong buying one of them.
Even last line of Canon digital SLR, the Canon Rebel, are considered very important by all sites in camera review. Although there are many cameras very good choice of a non-Canon, each is an excellent choice, and you have to do serious research before making your purchase decision, unless you have information in a professional photographer friend. But buying a Canon digital SLR is a truism. They are all good. You really impressed by the quality of images.
OK, so why choose the Rebel XSi T1i? It is for the price. The XSi is more than $ 150, more is less expensive than the young cousin, T1i. And for the photographer (which is what most of us when we bought our first entry level DSLR) differences in the technology of both cameras are virtually nonexistent. The exception is HD video. If you have video from your digital camera then you should get a Canon Rebel T1i. Otherwise, go to the XSi.
Use the $ 150 you save to buy a lens or on a tripod.
In Ultimately if you asked the question "should I buy Canon Rebel" .. You can not make a mistake, because both are fantastic. Fits Canon DSLR cameras?
I had some old film lenses cannon were on me, a couple and a 55mm-300mm 75. I wondered if they could be useful to Canon digital SLR? If so, I thought it might be able to spend a little extra money in the camera body to the same combo and Camera Lenses. I am particularly interested by the Canon EOS 50D. Thank you for help!
If you have Canon lenses are used in an autofocus EOS Rebel 35mm camera, they can be used on any device Canon digital SLR. If it is used in the former FTh AE or manual focus 35mm film, you can use a digital SLR Canon unless you can get an adapter FD EF mount assembly.
Record video from your Canon DSLR even if it doens’t have a video mode
