Canon Ef S 18 200mm
450D Camera – Highly recommended
So far I only had like 300 EOS and was very happy with it, so I wanted to stay with Canon and have decided to use the 450D camera body () which is initially free EF-S. I can now use the camera with my old 450D EF 18-90mm, and I want to wait for the new EF-S 18-200mm.
The pros and cons from what I can say after three weeks of use:
+ Ease of use
+ The 12-megapixel resolution are completely clear and detailed
+ Photos at night are quite possible (If applicable, ISO 1600, but more noise)
Speed + AF
LiveView + 10x manual focus very useful
+ Good making Continuous recording
LIFE + long battery
+ Can not be underestimated (Very fast browsing through the images captured you have recorded more than 1,000 images on an 8GB card)
+ Can I reuse EF
Easy + (eg much easier than EOS 40D)
Bracketing + can be set, useful for HDR images
– The fully automatic mode, the flash is almost always the (same) during the day as a substitute, however, can use programming mode
– Loss of AF is not well defined (as in the case fairly standard, but goes)
– From the House has 450D no full-frame sensor, increases the focal length of lens by a factor of 1.6 => For large objects such as buildings required, so more distance, or an additional lens with a focal
In short, a very balanced camera good value for money. The quirks are minor tolerable, especially because you can compensate for the replacement functions. Highly recommended.

Sigma-200mm or Canon EF 18-S 18-200mm?
As many of you told me to get the 18-200mm. Ive seen the canon efs 18-200 and the Sigma 18-200mm. What is the difference and the website shows about 3 types Sigma Sigma 18-200mm lens. I can get one? sigma not take the same image quality the Canon lens? Im going for the Sigma because of its more expensive. Please tell me your opinion or if I can say other Sigma lens I could choose a walk around the lens arent so expensive can be less than $ 400. Ive seen the Sigma 18-200mm cheaper prices in different stores.
Just to share this I have experience, I have owned several Sigma lenses over the years and have worked very well for me. If you go with Sigma, get one of targets upscale. Marcos
