My Canon Ixus battery charger with dual voltage?

I have the rechargeable battery charger base and I was wondering when I travel in Australia, which is 220 volts, will it work? I know I need something to change the plug, but I also need a converter??

It is not necessary. just carry along a converter. the converter must be able to "convert" the power your battery can be charged.
