My canon camera screen is black …?

Today I started using my new camera (Canon – PowerShot 10.0-Megapixel Digital ELPH Camera - Blue). I can replace the battery (charges) and a new memory card, but when I turn on the black screen when display button or press I can see the features on the side and the rest is black. I can not seem to take photos? Thanks for the help.

If you're within the exchange period retailers jump Canon. Enjoy new a new one. Never get a warranty repair when you have the option to change a new one. Never satisfied with a product that does the right work from the moment I understand. If it is too late to recover an exchange then call Canon.

Canon ELPH SD750 screen went black?

The screen of my camera went black and I can not take pictures. What could be problem? It is a fairly new camera.
