Canon ELPH. If I delete a photo from the camera will be stored in the SIM card?

I tried this before in another device and when I'm connected to my computer, deleted photos were still to come. How can I remove them permanently?

Response is yes and no. When you delete a file from a memory card, the device removes the pointer to the file, like locking a table of contents a book. Chapter may not always be in the book, but if it is not at the table of contents, the reader can not find it. In this sense, the file disappeared. However, the numerical recovery software can recover the file, as a reader can find a chapter of a book just turn the pages until you see the missing chapter. Therefore, the deleted file in theory, could be recovered unless crushed.
