Canon Eos 5d Dslr
I am a beginner looking to buy a digital SLR?
I explored the site thoroughly and I know its been covered in sick, but I will not run no risk with this investment. I have no problem with spending 400-600 but I want to make sure that when I get the camera lens i choose, be transferable my updates possible (I hope to get finally the canon EOS 5D Mark II). And suggestions for a camera?, Lens ?…. the meaning of life? Thanks guys (and girls).
If you have decided to choose as his life Canon camera system along when you buy an entry level Canon DSLR remember that the EF-S, made for that can not be used in the 5D or any full frame camera from Canon, 35mm or DSLR. This can end up costing you more money than anyone who wants to go shopping and more generally lenses more because EF cost more than S-EF. If you can find a good body XTi ($ 550) and buy a EF 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5 USM for about $ 325 can then be used with the new 5D, but will have a wide viewing angle with this lens. If you need a wide angle lens then EF 17-40mm f/4L USM will give you $ 700. I'm not trying to sell in the purchase of Nikon, but … all lenses, DX (Canon EF-S) and FX (Canon EF) can be used in either full frame DSLR or not. The Nikon D700 is equivalent to the 5D, but without video. The entry level Nikon D40 with 18-55 mm lens is less than $ 450 on Amazon so if the meaning of life is to buy a camera system with the greatest amount of compatibility, you may want to do more research before spending a dime.
