Canon Eos 5d Hire
Best entry-level DSLR?

What is the best entry level DSLR? I have a small "business" on the side I guess you could mean, people hire me for a small price to take pictures of them. I've done a few parties and "photo shoots." (I do not consider myself a professional photographer) I am currently using the Canon Power Shot SX20, I feel that I have used to their full potential and I would like to advance to the next level.I love me get the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, but that is to advanced for me. Any information and opinions would be helpful.

If you can run a little side business with point and shoot camera, then that should tell you is the photographer who is important, not the camera. Ergo, it should not matter what you get dSLR. In addition, anything would be better than what we have now. If you like royalty, then go for a level entry Canon digital SLR. Otherwise, try to Pentax, Nikon, Sony or Olympus.
