Canon EOS 7D or Sony NEX-VG10?

Hi me and short ski movies, and I'm very demanding on the quality of image. Which should I choose?

Between the two? Probably the Canon digital SLR … but do not know what their "short" projects are about and do not know your environment edition. The 7 D is a digital SLR camera designed to capture still images – and as a convenience feature can capture high definition video – But not small image sensor will capture video in low light as well. The NEX-VG10 is a camcorder designed to catch very compressed files MTS AVCHD video and is not a good choice for quick action. Low compression HDV will be responsible for action shots much better than the two on your short list and lenses larger (and image sensor system) is much better to capture the behavior of low light. If you really are * that * picky about image quality, then Sony HDR-FX7 or HDR-FX1000 should be investigated. Both are based on MiniDV tape camcorders, and assumes that your computer has a firewire port. If your authoring environment can not be dealt with Firewire, the 7D … This does not mean that the VG10 is a bad camera – okay, if one understands the limitations of AVCHD compression – The 7D. audio is not as good as the VG10 (or the FX7 or FX1000) but apparently the audio is not a major concern for you.

Hello, I recently noticed some love short films and began to become a small hobby. I am curious what is your favorite video editing software, and the camera and why? My favorite moment is the Canon EOS 7D, and Adobe Premiere! If you have any suggestions or websites that teach me the basics, let me know! Thank you <3

I usually use Ulead VideoStudio but now use only AVS videoeditor, which is much higher and can be downloaded for free, but I paid to upgrade. My cameras are Sony, Panasonic and JVC, the JVC uses 3 which, as far exceeds the other 2.
