Suggestions for a digital video camera that transmits live to HDMI?

I am looking for a digital video camera that transmits live HDMI ideally 720. The intention is to connect the camera directly to a TV with an HDMI input without going through a VGA converter or a video capture card. The aim is to show a bench-top demonstration to my class. So now I have found a lot of digital video cameras is recorded video output to HDMI, Flip and the Sanyo HD Xacti range, for example, but I want the camera to produce a live signal. I do not need the recording facilities, which would have settled for something that is like a web camera or closed circuit television, as long as there was no HDMI output USB connection. The closest I've found so far is something like the Canon EOS 7D, Sony HVR or specialized cameras designed for microscopy, which are quite expensive and rather bulky. Ideally be looking for a digital output power midrange camera video to HDMI. Any suggestions?
