Canon Eos 7d Movie Mode
I’m buying a new camera soon, and need some help choosing.. can you help?
Okay my parents are going to get help me purchase a camera for my film-making and photography courses at uni next year..
I’m looking for a camera that are good at taking pictures (good iso range etc), has a high definition video mode, and can shoot movies well. I was recommended and thinking of the Canon EOS 7D, but it is a bit pricey for me. Any others that you know of that are cheaper and are of good/similar quality?
The 60D isn’t ‘better’ than the 7D, but you do get a little more value for the price since it’s a lot newer. Considering the prices, I’d recommend the 550D or 600D instead of the 60 or 7. You should try using all three (or four) cameras and buy what you’re comfortable with. I have a 550D and I think it’s great.
