What will be the price of the upcoming Canon 70D?

Will there be a Canon 70D? Or the 60D is the last x0D camera? I saw one rumor that the 70D will be released in summer of 2011. Here’s the link: http://jeak.com/canon-eos-70d/
Will it be like the price of the 60D or will it be like the price of the 7D?

1. I seriously doubt the 60D will be replaced anytime this year. Canon is working on some big stuff, but it’s all in the 5D and 1D lines right now.
2. The 60D is still relatively new in the lineup. You’ll see a replacement for the 7D, 5D and 1D series before the 60D. The 60D was released in August of 2010. The shortest time frame between new cameras is about 18 months. Usually it’s about 2 years. Definitely not on the slate to come out just yet. Might be in development, but it won’t come for a while.
3. Canon suffered some setbacks with the earth quake which has put them behind on the cameras they had intended to release this year. They’re playing catch up as is Nikon. They aren’t going to release a replacement for a camera that was made last year when they have the pro’s crying for a replacement to the 5D Mark II which was released in 2008.
