I have a 12 MP Canon camera should I buy a new camera for professional photography?

Can I buy a digital camera for around £ 100?

I was looking for Fujifilm F480, but then I read that the quality Image good.I have not tried a Sony Cybershot DSC W55 and Canon IXUS 75. I am interested in taking pictures of my kids, vacations / Photos of the evening and perhaps some points of view, etc. must use.Also easy to say some USB 2, but only assume that I 1. I still possilble usb to transfer photos from USB1 but slower.Is this correct?
