Canon Ixus 120 Is Review
The Canon IXUS 100 IS is a slim digital camera pocket. It is small enough to fall into any pocket. The first time you hold the camera gives the impression of being well done with the construction of good quality. IXUS 100 IS digital camera is a more elegant, although which is the style is really a matter of personal taste. The camera comes in four colors. It is silver, black, red and gold.
In comparison to other handhelds Canon has included some additional features. Image stabilization can be more and more common, even in digital cameras with 3x zoom like that, but the inclusion of a viewer for many people. Unsurprisingly, the viewfinder is small, but still gives you a different option to bring their photos on the LCD.
Never throw a camcorder recommend buying a digital camera, but it is interesting to note that can produce high definition movie clips with the IXUS 100. What is good for recording a fast clip here and there, but only with a 3x optical zoom available, is no match for a video camera on most occasions.
As expected, the camera offers a range of preset scene modes help you take the best pictures possible. There is also a special configuration to help you get the best possible level where there are high levels of contrast. This may encourage more definition in the shadows of a photo, and the lighter areas. There is an AF to help set the theme of the camera and focus on the movement area. Help in this area is based on motion detection.
Canon does not include a memory card in the box. Unlike most brands do not build memory the IXUS 100 IS is. The rationale behind this is that they think that any purchase of this unit is likely to be an update of a previous model and you can have at least an SD card or the camera is SDHC compatible.
The boundaries of the 12-megapixel sensor unless more are planning to large format prints. In fairness, do not offer the flexibility to cut the pictures after taking them. More importantly, if you reduce the number of megapixels that triggers an additional zoom is also available. The other advantage of this is that the photos take up less space on your memory card. It also reduces the time needed to download photos to a computer.
I was impressed by the quality of the image the camera produces. There were no major weaknesses. I warn that perfection not available with these small devices, but if you are looking for good quality photos of the IXUS 100 will do the job. Canon digital cameras usually produce brilliant photos with great color. For close-ups, you can get closer to 3cm from the subject.
Canon has produced an analysis of the water to go with the IXUS 100. The case has the code number (WP-DC31). The case is waterproof to a depth of 40m. A weight is available to go with the case. Another accessory that might be interested in a flash drive to boost output of flash low light situations. This is the High Power Flash Canon HF-DC1.
Overall I was very impressed with Canon IXUS 100 IS. The disadvantage is that the device is expensive. I think at the end of the day, you get what you pay, but it is necessary to ensure that you really like aspect of this camera and use some of these additional features before moving on to buy this camera.
