Canon IXUS 80 lens problem?

The lens of our camera Canon IXUS 80 is not retracting properly: when switching between the "game" and "shoot" mode, the lens is stuck somewhere between being and zoom zoom out, and it will not change. Is there any way we can solve this problem without having to pay? Thanks:)

If the camera works fine otherwise, then you probably leave it as is. Take the camera to a store and let the most knowledgeable person with it looking great for a few minutes. If you can not help, then it is a job for a repair shop.
