Canon Ixus Amazon Uk
Canon IXUS 950 IS or the Panasonic DMC TZ3?

I’m still searching for a camera. When I went to the shop, I couldn’t decide between these two. HELP!

Canon:

Panasonic:

The Panasonic Lumix is the better camera. It has a higher optical zoom, and is just as compact. The Optical Image Stabilizer is a great feature, which will enable you to take great images even on uneven surfaces or on a bumpy car journey, or from public transport. What’s also good about the Optical Image Stabilizer is it is a true stabilizer, as opposed to some digital image stabilizing systems that some camera’s use. Also, you’ll be getting a Leica lens as well, Leica being on of the worlds leading lens manufactures. Also, you’ll be getting some good image scene selections modes, and good light balancing features. My recommondation, is the Lumix DMC TZ3. Any further questions, as before, feel free to email me.

How can I set up Time Exposure On A Digital Camera?

Hello, this question is thrown out to the photographers… I’ve always liked using a camera however many things I appreciate and don’t. One thing i do love about photography is something which i believe is called time exposure like the examples on this dA page;

http://browse.deviantart.com/photography/?order=9&q=time%20exposure

i love the examples of traffic at night where all you can see are the lights… its truely amazing…

Can anyone help me achieve this… I was bought a camera for christmas, its a Canon IXUS 960 IS, and i bought it on amazon on this link and it shows a customer image of that shot being taken with the camera.

Someone please help me…

Hi Scott.
I agree with the other answer, but you will also need a ‘Remote Release’ as when you have the camera mounted on the tripod, holding down the shutter release with your finger for a couple of seconds, you are in danger of vibration from your finger/hand/arm ruining the picture, where a remote release will eliminate that problem.
A low ISO number. and an aperture of about f16 with a shutter release of at least 2-5 seconds, maybe longer in certain circumstances.

Good luck.
