Canon IXUS was a waste of money.

I'm in the U.S., but I found the camera listed in the Amazon (USA). It had good reviews, especially the image quality. However, concern over the battery is justified because it has two LCD screens running. So if you like the new LCD double then bring extra batteries. I can not see any way around extra batteries. I carry spare batteries for the first digital camera I purchased. In fact, if I'm going to keep the camera for an unknown time, remove the batteries.
