Canon Ixus Features
Does the Canon SD600 not really have a battery meter?
I'm thinking about buying a camera Canon SD600 (also known as Digital Ixus 60). The only two criticisms I have read on this camera are: 1) flimsy plastic battery door – I do not care much about it. 2) Duration battery life is short and there is no battery meter. Supposedly the only camera a few minutes warning before the battery is dying, and taking note that this camera uses a AA battery, not property, then this could be a major problem. So my question is that there really is no battery meter "" Option, or is it just an "advanced" display feature that is disabled by default and the average layperson does not know how to activate?
No, you're right: the SD600 only tells you when the battery is low. According to Canon, a fully charged battery, it will display 160 photos Or 600 shots with LCD off. That should be enough for most days, but if you're worried, get a replacement. I'm in my second digital camera and I bought a spare battery for both.
