Canon Ixus Focus Problem

So I have a Canon Ixus and it seems that every time I go to take a picture just takes an eternity to take. I had this problem with my old camera so I'm thinking of something her im doing, like everyone else I know has no problem with their cameras, sometimes they are cheaper than mine. I'll take the photo, it takes forever to focus and then when he finally takes the pictures are blurry a large part of time, or sometimes I just can not get the natural looking color. Please help.

Hey "Pinkle":) Well first, you must have the flash, because if you're in a place with low light, making your photo, image usually do well. So after having a flash. maybe you should try to change the speed shutter. If you can not easily find the menu on the speed of the shutter, look in your owner's manual. Or, if you threw the manual, follow the website fees, will have a pdf file there. Hope this helped! ~ Blake
