Digital Camera Help??

I have a Canon Digital Ixus II. It worked well for awhile, but now the screen does not work correctly. It show me pictures that have already taken, but will not show what I'm about to take a photo. Also, when I take a picture after the picture now, is either a In standby mode, or it has lines going through a black screen. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

How about a free solution? It seems it is a mistake and manufacturers recognized that it was being repaired for free, please check and read, because there may be a time limit or restriction in question, that addresses these out of warranty however.
