Canon Ixus Ii
Flip II HD vs Canon Powershot IXUS 130 SD780/Canon?

What is the best video-wise … about it? Flip I take pictures, but are other pros and cons of both cameras? Sorry … a small error in the title … Canon Powershot SD1400 IS / IXUS 130 Canon

The quality of sd1400is powershot is just amazing. I've had one for almost a year and love it. It is a great camera and has great features such as HD video recording, 4x zoom, many shooting modes and effects, and incredible shooting new technology. I recommend this camera: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0035FZJJ4?ie=UTF8&tag=dailyelect-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0035FZJJ4 Hope this helped.

No prob soon im gonna buy Point and shoot camera canon ixus 220hs [ excited!!! really????]

so my question is does my idea below is good to take Professional Looking Photos in future?

1.Just start with Basic point and shoot camera yup m gonna start with canon ixus 220hs
i) learn wat is photography just do some random clicks

2.Then buy a good and entry level SLR camera
i) learn the manual process and functioning of camera
ii) Getting knowledege about lens and lighting

3.Attend some basic courses

4.Buy a Professinonal SLR camera

5.Make a stunning and content photos

hows my plan actually i don’t wanna be a professional photographer i just wanna take photos thats got professional touch …

So hws is my plan

Excuse my english

tnx cheers:)

I would cut out steps 1 & 5.
Buy an entry level Canon (600D/T3i) or Nikon (D5100).
All the P&S will do is let you learn composition while having little or no control over exposure settings.
You can always use the DSLR in auto or semi-auto mode until you get the hang of it.

Instead of step 5 – spend the money you would spend on the “professional DSLR” on some quality lenses. Your CAnon/Nikon body will give you years of service if you look after it and good lenses return more quality per $ than a new body.

Don’t bother with Photoshop until you are a fully competent photographer. It is too tempting to use Photoshop to try a make a decent image out of a poor shot. That makes you lazy and will stop you from learning good technique. Far better to force yourself to get it right in the camera than rely on rescue work afterwards. When you are fully competent you can then use Photoshop to polish very good images into excellent images.
