Canon Ixus Lens Error
I get an error E18 on my Canon Ixus 2 help?

I understand that E18 error is something to do with the lens mechanism. I tried the technique of touch to resolve, and although the lens does not retract then did it again immediately. My question is this: – I heard that this is a common problem, it the canon, but not accepted as such by them (not too much already out of warranty) So, does anyone no how much the repair if they had this problem or there is no guidance in setting yourself?

I had my digital camera Canon PowerShot since September have had no problems until recently. first part is stuck, then fell on a trip and I did not know that I have at home. Continues to work well but it is saying "Error Lens, restart camera lens and usually leave. I tried everything suggested in all different places and I'm running out of ideas! Could take over the shop but do not know what they can do or if they will some anything because the blinds were missing. I have been hard for him and nothing is random, but obviously I can not prove that. any help would be appreciated since it was a gift from my mother not and do not want her to know that it's broken! Thank you!
