Help! What is a good digital camera to buy now?

I heard Sony Cybershot and Canon IXUS series was good .. any1 any other suggestion?

Hello, I like my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80. I recommend it to you for many reasons. This is a great camera for its price. This could be the best choice for class, because it provides IS (image stabilization for shaky hands and moving objects: anti blur), 2.5 inch LCD, 7.2 megapixels and optical zoom 3x. On the other hand, this is very handy, light and small camera that can fit in your pocket without feeling it. Menus and settings are very easy and clear. Some tips appear on the screen when using the different modes, is very useful. The image is perfect! I took some shots with this camera really amazing – I'm hooked! I recommend if you are looking for one amazing little camera that you buy this. The video quality is also good. Best benefit is a viewer and the screen back for older people who still like to take a picture looking through the viewfinder. Good luck!
