So you go through all the trouble of making your house or apartment for a very pleasant drive to the local review, store it yourself or hire a professional to come do it for you, so why not capture an accurate record of it for posterity. In almost no cost I might add.

Take your camera and start to break the images of his place before the start of the project. I even documented my wife buried in catalogs, Plans magazines and books on the sofa where she studied our kitchen remodel. He did not blow, but ultimately I think it's going to look back and laugh. After invoices have been paid, I might add.

Yes, we are in the midst of a major kitchen remodel. Imagine taking your old kitchen semi-functional, thus depriving the poles, the cancellation of a wall or two and then again. This is what we are these days. I decided a few weeks ago that I would be nothing more than positive about the process as painful as it gets them. So, to that end, I decided to start taking pictures every day of course. Well almost every day since he days when no progress is made. It helps to keep my sense of humor and gave me a better perspective on the project that allowed me to give my wife at the entrance direction would not otherwise have received very good if you know what I mean.

It all started with the excavation of the newest addition at the rear of the house. The contractor began with the excavation for the new foundation, and the shedding of the facade the rear of the house. While there were a number of outdoor activities in the house got my DV camcorder and video shooting Time Lapse of all carpentry and dig what was happening in a period of two hours. He made a funny video.

Now, I work outside my office at home so that when construction started an ear full of doubts. My wife works in a local hospital and he was fortunate to miss the din of all days, but she has an ear full on the job from time to time. I can set a timer in my day to wander the back of the house and take pictures day. I am trying to find a new retail construction to capture each day. My favorite day, although it was stronger, by far, was the day of demolition. My contractor brought to this great team of boys from Russia at the beginning. He touched and crashed my old kitchen to pieces all the time talking to each other in Russian. They were efficient and nice guy who tore at a moment to register and create a mountain of garbage behind. Mount Trashmore I documented my dog standing proudly on top with a questioning look on his face.

Of course, one could say that I'm protecting against problems in the construction and it would be cool to a certain level. But this is not what I really do. I really want to be able to assemble a full documentation of this process can look in the future, when we full advantage of our new kitchen.
