Problem with Canon IXUS 75 connecting device to the computer? urgent help!?

I have specific problems in connecting the device to your computer using a USB cable and usually within seconds afew would read the device and connect, and now it does at all. I press the display button which aims to show the login page, but all I have on screen is the last photo I took. If anyone has any advice on this situation it would be greatly appreciated. Not sure if it's a software thing or a mechanical failure that can be covered by the warranty I have on it. Thank you very much!

Transfer photos from your computer to the camera?

I have a Canon Ixus 80 camera and a computer running Vista. I lost my USB cable for my HP Photosmart printer and want to put photos on my memory card from the camera so that you can print. The problem is that while these pictures were taken with a Canon camera, when I copy to my camera, an error message appears on the way the file has one or more properties outside the boundaries of the unit. When I tried, I could not see the picture on my camera and could not successfully to print from my printer when you copy the memory card from my camera. The error message says I use a program to change the properties file, but do not know what program to use and which properties change. The files are jpeg., Like me camera. Perhaps the problem do with the file size? All advice is appreciated.

Typically, cameras not read an image file they have not developed and does not play once it has been modified on a computer. The HP should be able to read the files, however, even if the camera can not. I suggest you mess with another USB cable, are inexpensive and perhaps avoid having problems with the card incorrectly format camera. BTW, although the standard USB cable HP is not standard, most of the HP Photosmart I have also seen a standard USB port on the front of the Take it as a USB key. Have you tried a standard USB cable?
