which is more worthwhile: 12.1 camera with 3.7x optical zoom 10 megapixel camera with 5x optical zoom? ?

I think Buy a camera Digital camera news, but I can not decide which one I should buy. There are two cameras that I love: one is the Canon IXUS 960IS (12.1MP and it has a 3.7x optical zoom), the other is the Fuji Finepix J150 (is 10MP and has a 5x optical zoom). Canon's information can be found here: http://www.canon.co.uk/For_Home/Product_Finder/Cameras/Digital_Camera/IXUS/Digital_IXUS_960_IS/index.asp information on the Fuji camera can be found Here: http://www.fujifilm.co.uk/consumer/digital/digital-cameras/fun-and-easy/finepix-j150w Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

To be honest, in a compact digital camera, the difference between 10 and 12 Mega Pixel mega pixels are not noticeable. Unless you plan to print enlargement enormous sizes, including 7 million pixels is a lot! The same kind of thing happens with the zoom. But it depends on how you want to use the camera. If you take lots of photos indoors and family than 3.7x, etc. is sufficient. However, consider that the extra pixels to 2 mega allow crops (Consider also that if you make huge prints, you'll be able to culture is close with the camera). I recommend to go into a store to keep stocks in your hands before making a decision. Both cameras are good, made by reputable companies. Hopefully it is useful for you!
