Canon L-Series Lenses
Should I buy a Canon 50D or 40D?

I am researching the purchase of a Canon 50D. I noticed him, but then I started reading these mixed reviews on image quality and noise. I want to invest in a good camera and now I'm not sure whether to buy the Canon 50D for a few hundred dollars more the 40D is a smart / worthwhile or not. Note: This was my first digital SLR and I have the L series lenses I am a beginner mild, but I've been reading a lot of material to help me prepare for an advanced camera. I'm tired of point and shoot and i am considering photography as a future profession.

I agree with David – start with a cheaper body (which may someday become your back-up) and sink every cent possible in the very best lenses. bodies come and go, lenses stay with you!
