it for the 50D, the 10-22 is the best! But, I bought one for my 30D, and the last 4 digital SLR that I bought were Full Frame. So keep in mind that you want to upgrade! If you really, really like taking pictures! And the EF-S 10-22 will not work then!

I had the camera for more than five (5) years and I love it. I never had any problem with the camera and well done. It took about 50,000 photos on my Rebel, and remains strong. I agree that the battery original supplied with the camera. My batteries have always lasted a long time before having to download, when I shoot sports, you can use an official daily. I know that are no longer on the open market, so my advice is simply to explain why I think this is an excellent value in the secondhand market.
The bottom line is this – unless you destroy your picture size displays, the XT 8MP is a great option. Upgrades to versions later give you a bigger screen, of course, but the basic functionality does not change much over at least two generations. Although I would able to preview the image on the screen (which can be done in this model), the picture quality and excellent function adjustment (all in the comments of others) make it an excellent choice.
Combined with the incredible range of excellent lenses, compact size, excellent battery life and have a great series that the Rebel XT a great choice on the market opportunity.

I had the 6.0 MP Canon EOS Rebel (300D), which was the first Canon digital SLR, for several years until a mirror was broken and the interior Lock for only a little more than it would cost to repair, I purchased (reformed) the next top model – which is the EOS 350D or Rebel XT.

I love my Rebel XT
I love my Rebel XT. I had for three years. Takes very good pictures, if pictures of my family and nature photography. Any problem I had with a photo quality are due to user error. (I'm still learning the proper way to use all the camera settings – which took me a long time because of laziness, no problem.)
I like the shutter speed is fast and can I have several pictures on pretty quickly.
You should be aware that, as with all cameras, if you buy other objectives that we have become dirty inside pretty easy. When is dirty, all I see dead spots in the sky, and can be photoshopped, but when it is really bad, you must bring a photo shop that specializes in cleaning digital SLR cameras. There is a way to clear the CMOS (see manual), which can sometimes be the problem.
