Canon Lenses Astrophotography
Astrophotographer 16 years of age?

I have 16 years and have been doing astrophotography for a little over a year. I started to like the astronomy when I moved to a new house that had a Edmund Scientific's 1960 6-inch telescope super conqueror of space. The first thing I noted Jupiter in my telescope was, and was the coolest thing ever! I started my piggybacking Canon DSLR with wide angle and telephoto lens to take pictures of deep space. They have also experimented with alpha narrowband images of hydrogen. Now I recently purchased an Orion 80ed mead LXD75 mount, and I'm looking for in autoguiders so you can start taking exposures longer than two minutes. Also I have a Canon EOS Rebel XSi, but it is unchanged. Is this a good astrophotography configuration? Any advice or suggestions?

Sounds like you're doing great things. I recommend joining a group of images from Yahoo, where get the advice of many experienced imagers.
