Canon Lenses Compare
What is the difference between the Canon 60mm macro and the Canon 100 macro? (Besides the obvious size)?

I am looking for a macro lens to photograph small objects (beads) for my Canon XTi. I wondered what would be best for this, and if anyone can compare the two lenses for me … I have compared in amazon but I really do not know they should use.

The biggest difference is the "distance work." With the Canon 100 mm, can make the object farther from the front of the lens, making it easier for the light, and things like insects, are less likely to frighten them. For small non-moving objects like beads, 60 mm is fine, if you can get adequate lighting in the small object.
