Canon Lenses Comparisons
Nikon D80?
I'm thinking of getting a Nikon D80 because I've heard nothing but praise for him, but now I'm stuck between that and the Canon Rebel XSI. So I love opinions, thoughts, all they have to offer. Some things I'd like to know about: – Image quality: one that produces cleaner sharper images with more vibrant colors? – Build quality: I've heard better things about the D80, but I'm still curious anyway. – Other functions Camera and comparisons? (Lenses are not a problem) Please do not provide links to reviews / comparisons on other websites, I read many of these, still can not decide, and we need your opinion. And finally, I'd love to know what you would get if asked to choose.
Image quality: Equality. With both cameras, you can set parameters like sharpness, color saturation, contrast and so depends on you as the end user to make adjustments want. Build Quality: The D80 is better. I suggest you actually pick up the two cameras on hand to make your own assessment. Canon can not have a good solid idea up to the 40D. Personally I think their entry level cameras have a cheap feel to them, but your feelings may be different. Other features: The D80 and XSI are really not comparable. The D80 is Nikon's in the lineup in a niche for which no counterpart Canon. The correct comparison of the XSi is the Nikon D60. If I had to choose, I actually get the Nikon D60 – cheaper, newer design, great value for money. The only reason to prefer the D80 in the D60 is compability with older Nikon AF. If you do not have them, get the D60 and spend money saved on better lenses. Better lenses reap more rewards in the long term.
