Canon Lenses Depth Of Field
How I can change the depth of field or blurred vision?
I got my Canon Rebel XS today, very excited, and I have most of the known. but is it possible to decide how the background is blurred, or do you just have to change lenses for that?
The smaller the f-stop, lower is the depth of field (blurred). Turn your camera to aperture priority mode and put the smaller the f-stop as possible – usually with a 3.5 lens kit. How can I play with depth of field / focus?

For bokeh good (the expression of a DDL give a blurred background), you need a lens with a speed sufficient to allow a small F stop. Objectives which are above the F2.8/F3.5 are difficult to use for effective bokeh. Do not depend on the camera, but the velocity of the lens. Few zoom lenses are right, you really need a principal with a good bokeh fast. For example, Here are three photos taken in the garden with the same camera and lens, but from F1.4 to F11 and shows the difference in the depth of field. All concerned were taken minutes apart in the same light and conditions. First is F1.4 and shows a flower with a DOF narrw front and rear petal development, only a small part is acute. The next is http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3152/3059539962_3aeca86943_b.jpg F 3.2 and all the planter, but the background blur. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3250/3058690089_76d487143a_b.jpg This is the F11 and has the Most vaccines in the home. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3022 / 3059534076_f1b1268fdd_b.jpg You can see the big difference between a large aperture (small F-number – 1.4) and stopped by the aperture (f number greater – F11).
